Transitioning from warm, sun-drenched  summer days to a breezy, pumpkin flavoured autumn, with the perfect addition to a minimalistic capsule wardrobe:

I never over think my looks, I’ve always been like that. I like comfort and versatility. Pieces that I can wear year round, a timeless capsule wardrobe mindset, mixing and matching, band tees and luxe, designer dresses with a pair of converse and messy hair.

But I pay a lot of attention to detail, I savour opulence, clean lines and refined textures.

I was thrilled to add this one to my capsule wardrobe. I was looking for the perfect tote bag for such a long time and picky as I am, I had a list of things to check before I commit to a purse.

Vegan leather, no loud logos, clean lines, exquisite details, high quality materials, sturdy straps, inner pocket, extra pouch that would double as a wallet/ wristlet, soft interior, big enough to hide the body, not too big to look suspicious, satisfyingly slouchy but with a firm bottom to hold its shape, monochrome…

As  soon  as I saw this one I was ready to commit.

And a huge collection of statement pieces in every shape and shade you could possibly wish for. I am now pondering over a fun, sleek purse to add to my non-basic collection. Perhaps something that I could wear  with my all-black, or all-white outfits to contrast the uniformity and breathe life into a monochrome ensemble.

I’m wearing a lovely GANNI leopard print, silk shirt dress. I usually stay away from prints but come on, leopard is a neutral and  you can’t go wrong with a maxi shirt dress whatever the occasion.

I simply could not resist.

I like going a size up, a slightly oversized dress looks

luxuriously laid back

without looking shapeless. Roll up the sleeves, tie the belt to accentuate your waist, be aware of proportions.
