DIY | Bunny Pencil Holder

A simple fun D.I.Y to help you keep your desk neat and your pens and pencils on hand.

Even though my desk is ocd organized I seem to misplace my pen all the time. And I had a some white air-dry clay laying around. The rest is history..

Start by making a nice smooth ball of clay. Gently enlarge and press it down. Shape and smooth it. Β It doesn’t have to be a bunny but it has to have ears. So go ahead, make the ears and attach them to the head.

Curve one of the ears with your pencil. make sure its wide enough for your pencil.

Then use the pencil or pen (the kind you use the most) to create the eyes.

Double check that both the eyes and ears are wide/snug enough to fit and hold your pencils

So here you have the basic bunny model which frankly works really well for my minimalistic aesthetic.

But if you’d like to take it a step further:

Fill the eyes with glitter glue, draw on eyelashes, a tiny nose and mouth and paint on the inner part of the ears.

Just have fun with it and see where it takes you..

I hope this inspires you to take a little time off your busy schedule and create something fun yet useful!

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appearance. I must say you’ve done a fantastic job with this. In addition, the blog loads super quick for me on Internet explorer. Superb Blog!
