      It’s really easy to make too! If you are on a hurry just blend a ripe avocado with some cocoa powder and ( preferably powdered ) sugar and you are good to go!

      Haha no! This recipe dates back to the great depression era, when people did not have easy access to animal products such as milk, eggs or butter.

  17. Why would you ever call this depression brownies?πŸ˜‚Is it because they are so good that we eat to much and gain 2kg? Or that once we have eat up them all and realised that we want more but theres no more so we get depressed? For whatever reason, they look so good and simple enought for me to bake!

      Haha no! The recipe dates back to the great depression era, when people could not afford milk, eggs or butter so they created really simple yet delicious ( and vegan ) recipes making the most of what they had available.
